Development Academy

SkoMor Soccer Club offers two programs within the Academy Structure:

The Development Academy Program (Boys and Girls ages 5 to 8)
The “Lady Footballers” Program (Girls Only – ages 5 to 10)

Registration Information:

SkoMor SC accepts Development Academy and Lady Footballers registrations on an as needed basis throughout the year. If you wish to have your child register for the Academy, please contact the Director of Coaching, Ethan C. Bontly.

The “Lady Footballers” Program

SkoMor SC invites Girls ages 5 to 10 to join the U-8, U-9 & U10 “Lady Footballers” teams. This includes professional coaches, weekly training sessions, weekly games, free technical training sessions, ‘Open Play’ club nights, camps at discounted rates, and free clinics.
Lady Footballers may register for the spring season, the fall season, or both, each for a low fee of $175 per season

Season Dates: Spring Season: April to June; Fall: September to November
Training is scheduled once a week, while games are played on the weekend in U-8, U-9 or U-10 Girls Travel Soccer Leagues.
Teams: Roster size: Max 14 Players, games are played with 7 vs. 7.

U-8 Born between 8/1/03 & 7/31/05 (or younger)
U-9 Born between 8/1/02 & 7/31/04
U-10 Born between 8/1/01 & 7/31/03

Leagues/Games: IWSL U-8, U-9 & U-10 divisions, 2x30 min games, Spring 8 games; Fall 10 games
Uniforms: All participants receive one home and one away SkoMor S.C. t-shirt, game shorts, game socks and a grey training shirt.

SkoMor Soccer Club Development Academy Program

SkoMor SC invites both Boys and Girls ages 5 to 8, to join the Development Academy Program, a year round youth training program that includes training sessions, weekly games, professional coaches, and home/away uniforms.
Academy players may register for spring season, the fall season or both for a low fee of $175 per season.
Training is scheduled once a week, while games are played on the weekend in U-8 Travel Soccer Leagues.
The Academy is designed and overseen by the SkoMor SC Director of Coaching Ethan C. Bontly, to develop essential skills for early soccer development, build team spirit and to have fun for both boys and girls.
Key Information:

Academy Cost: $175 per season
Dates: Spring Season: April to June; Fall: September to November
Training/Practices: One per week for 60 minutes during spring and fall seasons
Teams: Roster size: Max 14 Players, games are played with 7 vs. 7
Leagues/Games: YSSL or IWSL U-8 divisions, 2x30 min games, Spring 8 games; Fall 10 games
Uniforms: All Academy participants receive a home and away SkoMor S.C. t-shirt, shorts and socks.
